Description

  • Resiliency is a key factor in human growth and development and an especially important factor in trauma treatment leading to post traumatic growth. This workshop will address recent knowledge and understanding of major resilience factors. Participants will learn to incorporate resiliency skills in the psychotherapy process to deepen the work and support our client's sense of post traumatic growth. Participants will also be provided with an overview of resilient theory and knowledge.

Learning Objectives

  • Define resilience theory and knowledge base of the theory

  • Define about the 6 factors of resilience

  • Define post traumatic growth

  • Identify how to build and incorporate resiliency skills into the psychotherapy process creating opportunities for post traumatic growth

  • Practice how to develop and build on your own personal resiliency skills

Amir Levine, PhD, LCSW-R

Dr. Amir Levine is Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Bhava Therapy Group. As Clinical Director of our team therapists, Dr. Levine serves as a devoted mentor, educator, mental health provider and an innovator in organizational development. Dr. Levine has presented at numerous national conferences about issues related to clinical psycho-therapeutic curriculum development, organizational development and direct patient care.
